After 6 years and dozens of plans, we have finally settled on the house we want to build. We had out plans drawn up at the first of the year and have been receiving bids. This last week we signed a contract with a builder, settled on a bank, and applied for our loan.We signed the loan paperwork yesterday and if all goes well, we should begin construction sometime in June and be moved in by Thanksgiving!
We will be posting pictures and updates each step along the way.

I think both styles are beautiful, but I prefer the one with 2 gables.
